This weekend, we head to Phoenix Raceway for the Freeway Insurance 500. The race is Sunday at 3:00pm ET on USA. Earlier this season was the first race with the 750hp package. This is also the first time since 2019 that Phoenix isn’t the Championship race. This is the same left-side tire that was used at Phoenix earlier this season. It’s the only track that uses this left-side tire. The right-side tire was used at Phoenix, Martinsville, North Wilkesboro, Richmond, and New Hampshire this season. The track was much faster than last season, but it continues to age with tire fall off. The new package makes a difference. I’ll be using practice data, recent Phoenix data, short-flat track data, 2026 speed, pit road data, and a few other things when building lineups this weekend.
