This weekend, we head to Darlington Raceway for the Goodyear 400. The race is at 3:00pm EST on FS1. This 400-mile race is not as daunting as the 500-mile race at the end of the summer, but it’s still one of the most challenging racetracks in the Series. With the high-tire wear and steep banks, anything can happen at Darlington. With the added horsepower and lower downforce, I think Darlington is the toughest track on the schedule this season. We saw over 2.5 seconds of fall off on long runs in practice. This is the same tire they ran at Las Vegas last weekend. Group A had a little more pace, but group B had a little less fall off. Group B also dominated qualifying. As I mention all the time, the open pit boxes are a big advantage at this track. The #1 pit stall is a massive advantage. I’ll be using recent Darlington data, steep high-tire wear track data, practice, 2025/2026 speed, and a few other things when building lineups.
NASCAR DFS Picks: Goodyear 400
The stages are 90, 95, and 108, which is a total of 293 laps. With 293 laps, we’re looking at 29.3 laps completed and 29.3 laps led points on FanDuel. On DraftKings, we’re looking at a potential of 131.85 fastest lap points and 73.25 laps led points, which is a total of 205.1 potential dominator points.
