This weekend, we head to Iowa Speedway for the Iowa Corn 350. The race is Sunday at 3:30pm ET on USA. This is only the third time the Cup Series has run here, and this is a different tire they used from last season. There was a tire test here in May with Austin Dillon, Noah Gragson, and Tyler Reddick. This is also a different package then they ran here last season. Brad Keselowski wrecked in qualifying, Chase Elliott spun in qualifying, and Briscoe/Hamlin had a lot of brake issues in practice. In 2024, there were 8 cautions for 49 laps, and last season, there were 12 cautions for 72 laps. The race winner started 2nd in both of those races. I’ll be using recent short-flat track data, recent 2026 speed, practice, some high-tire wear data, and a few other things when building lineups this weekend.

NASCAR DFS Picks: Iowa Corn 350

The stages are 70, 140, and 140, which is a total of 350 laps. We have some interesting stage lengths this weekend, but I think tire wear will come into play more than fuel. With 350 laps, we’re looking at 35 laps led points and 35 laps completed points.
