This weekend, we head to Dover Motor Speedway for the NASCAR All-Star Race. The race is Sunday at 1pm on FS1. With the All-Star race comes a unique format. We have two 75-lap segments to determine the final 26 spots for the final 200-lap race. The top 26 drivers at the end of the first segment will be inverted for the second segment. We have 19 drivers locked into the final segment. The 6 drivers not locked in with the best average finish in the first two segments will get into the final segment. There is also a fan vote. If a locked in driver is knocked out of the race, they will take another “open” car to make it a 26-car field. Drivers that miss the final segment will finish between 27th and 36th depending on average finish of the first two segments. On FanDuel, drivers who miss the final segment will miss out on the 20 extra points for laps completed.
Drivers who are locked in if they don’t wreck are Denny Hamlin, Brad Keselowski, Ross Chastain, William Byron, Christopher Bell, Bubba Wallace, Joey Logano, Ty Gibbs, Austin Cindric, Kyle Busch, Tyler Reddick, Chase Briscoe, Austin Dillon, Shane Van Gisbergen, Josh Berry, Carson Hocevar, Ryan Blaney, Kyle Larson, and Chase Elliott.
NASCAR DFS Picks: NASCAR All-Star Race
The stages are 75, 75, and 200, which is a total of 350 laps. All laps green or yellow count, but there will be a red flag at the end of the first and second segments. On DraftKings, with 350 laps, we’re looking at 157.5 potential fastest lap points and 87.5 laps led points. On FanDuel, we’re looking at 35 laps led points and 35 laps completed points.
