This weekend, we head to Charlotte Motor Speedway for the Blue Cross NC 300. The race is Saturday at 4pm ET on The CW. This is the first time since 2017 that there has been a fall race on the oval. This is the same tire they used at Charlotte earlier this season and at multiple other 1.5-mile tracks. I will be using recent Charlotte data, recent 1.5-mile data, practice, 2026 speed data, and a few other things when building lineups this weekend. There have been at least 8 cautions in 7 of the last 9 races here. The race winner has started inside the top 5 in 5 of the last 9 races here. Chevrolet has won 5 straight races here. Practice and qualifying were moved to Saturday morning, but I don’t think it’s going to matter. There is 80%+ chance of rain from 4am till midnight. I think we see a Sunday night or Monday daytime race for NOAPS this weekend.
