This weekend, we head to Chicagoland Speedway for the Cuervo 300. The race is Saturday at 5:30pm ET on The CW. For the first time since 2019, NASCAR returns to Chicagoland Speedway. This isn’t the same Chicagoland Speedway they raced in 2019, and I’m almost treating it like a new track. Practice was rained out on Friday, so they canceled qualifying on Saturday, and they’re going to practice instead, which I like. Cup drivers had practice on Friday. They didn’t get up by the wall, but there was a lot of tire fall off. Drivers compared it to Kansas more than Charlotte. I’ll be looking forward to practice for NOAPS on Saturday afternoon.
