This weekend, we head to Phoenix Raceway for the GOVX 200. The race is Saturday night at 7:30 PM ET on the CW. Phoenix Raceway is a 1-mile oval and considered a short-flat track. I think Phoenix comps best with Richmond, but I also use New Hampshire. We have a new left-side tire this weekend. The right-side tire was used at Phoenix and Gateway last season. Anytime we get a new tire, I think it’s important to look at long-run speed in practice. The race winner has started inside the top 5 in 6 of the last 10 races here. The race winner has started inside the top 10 in 9 of the last 10 races. I’ll be using recent Phoenix data, short-flat track data, 2025 speed, practice, and a few other things when building lineups.
NASCAR O’Reilly Auto Parts Series DFS Picks: GOVX 200
The stages are 45, 45, and 110, which is a total of 200 laps. With 200 laps, we’re looking at a potential of 90 fastest-lap points and 50 laps-led points. There have been at least 6 cautions for at least 39 laps in 7 of the last 10 races here. Even after the cautions, we’re looking at 120-ish dominator points.
