This weekend, we head to Iowa for the Hy-Vee Perks 250. The race is Saturday at 5:00pm ET on The CW. The NOAPS returned to Iowa in 2024 after not racing here since 2019, and 8 of the last 10 races have been won from a driver starting inside the top 5. Long term, 17 of 22 races here in NOAPS have been won from a driver starting inside the top 5. In the last 2 seasons, we’ve had crazy restarts and some right-front tire issues. There is a new tire combo for Iowa, but it has been run at multiple tracks this season. I’ll be looking at recent short-flat track data, 2026 speed, practice, Iowa data, and a few other things when building lineups this weekend.

The stages are 60, 60, and 130, which is a total of 250 laps. With 250 laps, we’re looking at 112.5 potential fastest lap points and 62.5 laps led points. There have been at least 7 cautions in 7 of the last 8 races here.
