This weekend, we head to Rockingham Speedway for the North Carolina Education Lottery 250. The race is at 2:30pm ET on the CW. Last season was the first time back at The Rock since 2004. Rockingham Speedway is a 1.017-mile D-Shaped Oval. With the corner banking, it’s classified as a steep track. The track is repaved, and it’s nothing like it used to be. We saw very little tire fall off in the Truck Series race, and that’s what we saw in both races here last season. This is the same tire code teams ran last season, which gives us some strong data for this weekend. The race last season was a mess, but we can still look at speed from that race. This weekend, I’ll be using 2026 speed, 2025 speed from Rockingham, practice (more than most weeks), and a few other things when building lineups. With low tire fall off tracks, practice is usually a great tool.
NASCAR O’Reilly Auto Parts Series DFS Picks: North Carolina Education Lottery 250
The stages are 60, 60, and 130, which is a total of 250 laps. With 250 laps, we’re looking at 112.5 potential fastest laps and 62.5 laps led. After cautions, we’re likely looking at roughly 155 to 160 potential dominator points.
