This weekend, we head to Indianapolis Motor Speedway for the Pennzoil 250. The race is Saturday at 4:00pm ET on The CW. In 2024, NASCAR decided to return to the Indy Oval. It was the first time since 2019 the NOAPS has run on the Indy Oval. They ran here from 2012 to 2019, and the race winner started inside the top 3 in 7 of those 8 races. Last season, the race winner was Connor Zilisch from 7th, and the year before was Riley Herbst from 2nd starting place. This is the same tire they ran at Pocono earlier this season. I’ll be using practice, recent 2026 speed, recent Pocono/Indy data, and a few other things when building lineups this weekend. I’ll be weighing practice a little more than usual this week. Practice has correlated well over the last 2 races here.

NASCAR O’Reilly Auto Parts Series DFS Picks: Pennzoil 250

The stages are 30, 30, and 40, which is a total of 100 laps. With 100 laps, we’re looking at 45 potential fastest lap points and 25 laps led points. After cautions, we’re likely looking at 60ish dominator points.
