This weekend, we head to Sonoma Raceway for the Pit Boss/FoodMaxx 250. The race is Saturday at 5:30pm ET on The CW. Sonoma Raceway is the fourth road course race of the 2026 season for the O’Reilly Auto Parts Series. Sonoma is a 12-turn 1.99-mile road course. The 2023 race was the first time the NOAPS raced at Sonoma. Sonoma repaved the track in 2024. Sonoma was known for the tire fall off and elevation, but we’re not seeing the fall off with the repave. This is the same tire ran here in 2025 and the same tire they’ve used at every road course since Sonoma last season. Teams had 50-minutes of practice on Friday. JRM was the class of the field and have had the most speed on road courses this season. I’ll be looking at 2026 speed, practice, 2025-current road course data, and a few other things when building lineups this weekend.
