This weekend we head to Darlington Raceway for the Sports Clips Haircuts VFW Help A Hero 200. The race is Saturday at 5:30 PM ET on the CW. Practice and qualifying is on Saturday morning, which gives us a tight window to build lineups this weekend. Darlington is one of my favorite tracks. The race winner has started 10th or better in 9 of the last 10 races here. The race winner has started 3rd or better in 6 of the last 7 races here. Chevrolet has won 6 of the last 9. Darlington is a unique 1.366-mile oval that has two different-sized corners. It’s an older racing surface, so it’s a high-tire-wear track. It comps best to Homestead, but for more data, you can use steep tracks and high-wear tracks. I still think the best comp is Darlington itself. I will be using recent Darlington data, Darlington/Homestead data, 2025/2026 speed, practice, and a few other things when building lineups this weekend.
