This weekend, we head to Darlington Raceway for the Buckle Up South Carolina 200. The race is Friday night at 7:30pm ET on FS1. This race was run in August last season and in May the three years prior. It’s the same tire combo they ran here in August. This will be the eighth Truck race at Darlington since the series returned to racing here in 2020. The race winner has started inside the top 6 in 7 of the 8 races here since returning. There have been at least 7 cautions for 35 laps in 7 of those 8 races. Last season was the first time there wasn’t. It was a 3-caution race for 19 laps. Chevrolet has won 4 of the last 6 races here. Darlington is a unique 1.366-mile oval, that has 2 different sized corners. It’s an older racing surface, so it’s a high-tire wear track. It comps best to Homestead, but for more data, you can use steep tracks and high-wear tracks. I will be using recent Darlington data, Darlington/Homestead data, practice, 1.5-mile data, 2025 speed, and a few other things when building lineups this weekend.
