This weekend, we head to Texas Motor Speedway for the SpeedyCash.com 250. We have another Friday Night Truck race! The race is at 8:00 PM ET on FS1. Practice and Qualifying is Friday at 2:30 PM ET. The Truck Series doesn’t race at Las Vegas and Kansas in the spring, which means it’s the first 1.5-mile race of the season for them. This is the same tire code they’ve run at Texas, Las Vegas, and Kansas since 2022. The closest comp to Texas is Charlotte, but Texas is more of a 1-groove racetrack, so it doesn’t have a perfect comp. I’ll be using those two tracks plus Las Vegas and Kansas. When building lineups, I’ll look at practice, recent 2026 speed, recent Texas data, high-speed intermediate tracks, and a few other things. The race winner has started 6th or better in 12-straight Truck races at Texas.
