This weekend we head to Talladega Superspeedway for the Love’s RV Stop 225. The race is Friday at 4:00 PM ET on FS1. This is a very random Friday race. This is the second race of the round of 8, and Corey Heim locked himself into the Championship 4 at the ROVAL. There is no practice this weekend, and qualifying is Friday at 1:00 PM ET. We should have a starting lineup by 3:00 PM ET, and I will have projections up by 3:30 PM ET. This will be a tight window for creating lineups, but it should create a little bit of an edge. There have been at least 6 cautions in 13 of the last 14 truck races here. The race winner has started outside the top 15 in 5 of the last 6. There have been 23, 18, 25, 15, 17, and 14 lead lap trucks in the last 6 races here. I will use recent Superspeedway data, Talladega data, 2025 speed, and a few other things when building lineups this weekend.
NASCAR Truck Series DFS Picks – Love’s RV Stop 225
The stages are 20, 20, and 45 laps, which is a total of 85 laps. With 85 laps, we’re looking at 38.25 potential fastest lap points and 21.25 laps led points. Like most superspeedways, roster construction is the most important thing. Truck races on superspeedways are typically wild, which produces a lot of place differential.
