This weekend we head to Richmond Raceway for the ToyotaCare 250. Richmond Raceway is a short-flat track, and over the last couple of years, the tire wear continues to get higher. This is the same tire the XFINITY Series has been running at Richmond, Phoenix, and New Hampshire since the start of the 2022 season. We can look at speed from Phoenix earlier this season, and recent data from all three of these tracks. I think the best comp for Richmond is Phoenix. Chevrolet has won four of the last five races at Richmond. The race winner has started eight or better in eight of the last ten races here. There have been at least five cautions in eight of the last ten races here. We have a tight window between practice and qualifying this week, which means we will be using past data, recent track history, practice, and a few other things to quickly build lineups.

The stages are 75, 75, and 100, which is a total of 250 laps. With 250 laps, we’re looking at a potential of 112.5 fastest lap points and 62.5 laps led points.
