This weekend, we head to the Charlotte Motor Speedway Road Course for the Blue Cross NC 250. The race is Saturday at 5pm ET on the CW. This is the final race of the round of 12. Nick Sanchez -5, Austin Hill -7, Harrison Burton -8, and Sammy Smith -14 are the four drivers below the cut line. All of these drivers have the upside to finish well. Jesse Love +5, Carson Kvapil +9, Sheldon Creed +12, and Taylor Gray +16 are the four drivers below +40. This should be an exciting race, and I think playoff drivers by the cut line will focus on stage points. Teams will have a 50-minute practice session on Saturday morning. Practice starts at 11:30am, with qualifying after at 12:40pm. Projections should be posted by 4pm ET. I’ll be using recent ROVAL data, 2024-2025 road course data, recent speed, practice, and a few other things when building lineups this weekend.

NASCAR Xfinity Series DFS Picks: Blue Cross NC 250

The stages are 20, 20, and 27, which is a total of 67 laps. With 67 laps, we’re looking at 30.15 potential fastest lap points and 16.75 laps led points. We typically see a lap leader on the optimal, but I don’t make a dominator group. For road courses, I’ve had more success making a top-10 group.
