NBA DFS Core Plays LIVE: Saturday, December 31st
Andy Means (meansy53) will be bringing Premium subscribers his top NBA DFS plays to build around for the upcoming slate. A former Duke basketball walk-on, Meansy will also give you his thoughts on the slate as a whole from a macro perspective. On weekends, the GPP maestro you all know and love, STLCards, takes the reins. And on this rare occasion, we have Noto at the helm.
GENERAL SLATE THOUGHTS
10:30 AM ET – Much like the association, RotoGrinders is short on bodies at the moment. Between power outages and illnesses, the weekend crew was unable to field a full roster. I am happy to step in and play as many meaningless minutes as possible… Terrence Ross style. My direct quote concerning Ross from yesterday’s article was as follows, “You are welcome to scold me when he goes 2-for-12 and finishes with 13 fantasy points.” I appreciate all of you resisting the urge to lash out at me, as Ross went 3-for-10 and finished with 10.75 fantasy points.
Other than Ross, it was a mediocre night for the core plays. Here is how they fared:

Let’s turn our attention to Saturday’s nine-game slate. There are six teams playing in the second half of a back-to-back: the Bulls, Pistons, Wolves, Sixers, Heat, and Jazz. We all want to bring in the New Year with a DFS win, so hopefully this article can lead you in the right direction. If you are going out tonight, make sure to drive safe and to watch out for other drivers.
