GENERAL SLATE THOUGHTS
8:45 AM ET: Happy Saturday, Grinders! It’s hard to believe that December is already here. We are hitting the heart of the NBA season already!
As for this evening, we have a relatively small four game main slate for a Saturday night. Key players that have already been ruled out include Damian Lillard (who is expected to return tomorrow), Karl-Anthony Towns (who will be out for an extended period), and Wendell Carter Jr.
At first glance, this is a slate that offers a nice mix of plays at every price range. If more injury news breaks, it could definitely become a stars and scrubs slate. The Minnesota players haven’t exactly been price adjusted for the Towns injury yet, so they will be a team to target heavily — especially in a matchup against a Thunder team that suddenly ranks 3rd in the league in tempo this season.
