NBA DFS Core Plays LIVE: Saturday, November 19th

Andy Means (meansy53) will be bringing Premium subscribers his top NBA DFS plays to build around for the upcoming slate. A former Duke basketball walk-on, Meansy will also give you his thoughts on the slate as a whole from a macro perspective. On weekends, the GPP maestro you all know and love, STLCards, takes the reins.

GENERAL SLATE THOUGHTS

8:25 AM ET: Happy Saturday, Grinders! Well, I said yesterday that I would expect it to be a high scoring slate, but I certainly didn’t expect Miami to mess with us all day long, and I certainly didn’t expect winning GPP scores on DraftKings to push 400 points. We had a tight rotation for the Heat with everyone being cheap in DFS, and we also had two overtime games contributing to the big night.

We only have four games on the slate today, so it should be a bit easier to navigate. However, the Magic, Pacers, Sixers, and Jazz are all playing the second leg of a back-to-back, and we once again have plenty of injury news to monitor. A balanced build seems reasonable at first glance as the optimal way to approach this slate, but that could certainly change as news breaks.
