NBA DFS Core Plays LIVE: Sunday, January 22nd

Andy Means (meansy53), a former Duke basketball walk-on, will be bringing Premium subscribers his top NBA DFS plays to build around on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays. Everyone’s favorite, Notorious, will be guiding you on Tuesdays and Thursdays. And on weekends, the GPP maestro you all know and love, STLCards, takes the reins.

GENERAL SLATE THOUGHTS

9:30 AM ET – Happy Sunday, Grinders! After that crazy slate yesterday, I had to sleep in for a little bit today. I didn’t wake up until about 7:45, which is probably the latest I have slept in about three years. #dadlife

In any event, we’re refreshed and ready to go for what should be an entertaining Sunday. We have slates that diverge today, with a five game slate on FD that includes the NY/TOR game at 6:00 PM ET. DK is excluding that game from their slate, and they are offering a four game slate that starts at 8:00 PM ET. Be mindful of the different lock times as you select your contests today.

If you are playing that FD slate, we do have a couple of extra injuries to monitor. The Raptors are on the second leg of a back-to-back set, and O.G. Anunoby left yesterday’s game early with an ankle injury. Fred VanVleet missed yesterday’s game with a rib injury. Both seem to be truly questionable today until we get updates.
