NBA DFS Core Plays LIVE: Thursday, January 12th
Andy Means (meansy53), a former Duke basketball walk-on, will be bringing Premium subscribers his top NBA DFS plays to build around on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays. Everyone’s favorite, Notorious, will be guiding you on Tuesdays and Thursdays. And on weekends, the GPP maestro you all know and love, STLCards, takes the reins.
GENERAL SLATE THOUGHTS
9:50 AM ET: Happy Thursday everyone. I appreciate all of the show recommendations from Tuesday’s article and will report back when I start watching them. We have a larger slate than we usually do on Thursday, as there are six games on the schedule tonight. There are only two teams playing in the second half of a back-to-back: the Celtics and the Bucks. We could see both teams rest players, especially the likes of Al Horford and Joe Ingles.
We have a fun weekend to look forward to — we have three days of NFL playoffs, we have the Sony Open in Hawaii for the golf fans out there, and including today, the next five NBA slates all feature between six and nine games. This is always the sweet spot for the NBA, both for content and for playing DFS. I don’t have any random subjects to bring up today, so I suppose we will stick to basketball.
As always, let’s take a look at the injury landscape for tonight.
