Happy Thursday!
Aside from the All-Star Break and the offseason, this is the first time in the last 10 years that I’ve gone until Thursday without writing an NBA Grind Down or Core Plays article. Taylor Smith typically writes this article on Mondays when there is a PGA TOUR event, and there weren’t any NBA games on Tuesday. Taylor also covered for me yesterday, as I was at my son’s maturation program.
It’s wild to think that my son is already at this stage of his life. I thought they did a great job with the maturation program. Naturally, the boys couldn’t contain their laughter during some of the slides. There were a few moments where even the teachers and parents couldn’t help but laugh.
The quest to sell my house is still going strong. We’ve had a steady stream of showings, but we still haven’t gotten a reasonable offer. We had an open house over the weekend and had showings that went over their allotted time each of the last two nights, so we are hoping something happens soon.
I hope everyone is having a great week. If you ever need anything, don’t hesitate to reach out, whether it’s about DFS or anything else. Life can be tough sometimes. I’m here if you need someone to talk to.
Slate Overview
We only have 2 games on the slate tonight, and there’s a rest advantage in each of them. The Suns and Heat are both playing on the second night of a back-to-back and their third game in four nights, while the Magic and Warriors are both well rested. Several key players (Jimmy Butler, Paolo Banchero, Jalen Suggs, and Gui Santos) have already been ruled out tonight, so we have plenty of positive RGValues in our projections.
