We finally made it to the weekend. It’s been a week of extremely small slates in the association, so it’s nice to see 8 games on the schedule tonight. It’s also nice that we don’t have any teams playing in a back-to-back set. You would think this would lead to a smaller injury report for most teams, but that’s not the case. There are several key players listed as questionable that we’ll have to monitor leading up to lineup lock.

I hope everyone has some fun weekend plans. We are headed to my friend’s house tomorrow night for a “Favorite Things” party. It’s similar to white elephant, but instead of a silly gift, everyone brings their favorite things. I’m planning to bring something golf-related and potentially a nice bottle of whiskey. On Sunday, we are taking all of our nieces and nephews to see a Paw Patrol live show and then having everyone over to build and decorate ornaments and gingerbread houses. It’s going to be great.

1:50 PM ET – The Jazz are now expected to have Jordan Clarkson, Lauri Markkanen, and Kyle Filipowski available tonight. They are an easy team to avoid in all formats. Austin Reaves is now probable for the Lakers. He’s an interesting large-field tournament play with LeBron James out.

Indiana Pacers (at PHI)

We kick off the slate with the Pacers, who will be without Ben Sheppard, Aaron Nesmith, Isaiah Jackson, and James Wiseman. They draw a difficult matchup against the Sixers, who are quickly becoming one of the worst matchups for fantasy production (29th in pace, 8th in defensive rating). Even shorthanded, the Pacers don’t have a single player on the roster with a positive RGValue. They are an easy team to avoid in small-field tournaments and cash games.
