Happy Friday!
I hope everyone had an amazing Thanksgiving. I am still feeling the after-effects of eating so much food yesterday. We successfully conquered two Thanksgivings that were three hours apart and made some great memories along the way. There are technically 10 games on the schedule today, but we will focus our attention on the 7-game main slate that FanDuel and DraftKings have to offer. Since there weren’t any games yesterday, no team is playing on the second half of a back-to-back. It’s wishful thinking, but hopefully, we will have a relatively light day of injury news.
Let’s dive into the slate.

Team Previews
Orlando Magic (at BKN)
We start the slate with the Magic, who travel to Brooklyn to take on the slowest-paced team in the NBA. While this projects to have the slowest pace of any game on the main slate, the matchup is still appealing, as the Nets are 20th in points allowed per game and 25th in defensive rating. The Magic are still without Paolo Banchero and Gary Harris, yet their team total is a point higher than their season average. Franz Wagner has averaged 47 fantasy points per game with Banchero out this season and has topped 50 fantasy points in 5 of his last 9 games. He’s the only player with a positive RGValue. Jalen Suggs is the interesting pivot in large-field tournaments. The frontcourt can be avoided for now with too many bodies splitting minutes.
Brooklyn Nets (vs. ORL)
The Nets have a lengthy injury report heading into tonight’s game. Cam Thomas, Day’Ron Sharpe, Dennis Schroder, Noah Clowney, and Bojan Bogdanovic have all been ruled out, while Nic Claxton, Dorian Finney-Smith, and Cameron Johnson are all listed as questionable. Let’s see who has benefited the most this season with Schroder and Thomas off the floor:
As it stands right now, with the three questionable players in the projections, nobody is popping as a great value play. I do have interest in Ben Simmons in tournaments, as he put up 38 fantasy points in a similar spot the other night. If Claxton, Finney-Smith, and/or Johnson end up being out, perhaps some value will open up here.
