A daily fantasy sports OG, Notorious has been roaming the DFS streets ever since they were invented. He has racked up multiple live final seats and several six-figure tournament wins in his DFS career and has long been one of the top NBA DFS minds in the industry. On weekends, Taylor Smith takes the reins. Their Core Plays LIVE article will zoom out on the slate as a whole, zoom in on the best NBA DFS picks, and constantly update as news breaks. Whether you are diving into the slate 5 hours before it starts or 5 minutes before it starts, Core Plays LIVE has everything you need for your DraftKings and FanDuel lineups.
Well, folks, we’ve only got 3 games on the main NBA slate tonight. The league correctly decided to postpone the 2 games scheduled to go down in Los Angeles tonight as a result of the horrific wildfires out here. There’s also no longer a 2-game afternoon slate, as the Rockets-Hawks clash scheduled to take place in Atlanta was called off due to icy conditions out there. Maybe Kevin Roth can add NBA forecasting to his list of duties after all.
There’s still plenty to talk about with regard to the 3 remaining games on the main slate, so let’s dive in.

Toronto Raptors (at DET)
The Raptors have been an injury-plagued mess this season, but they’re finally starting to get healthy. Ochai Agbaji (listed questionable) is the only Raptor who could be missing from the lineup tonight in Detroit, where they’re listed as 5-point underdogs. RJ Barrett (29.9%) and Scottie Barnes (27.9%) pace Toronto in terms of usage, while Immanuel Quickley has been more proficient in the assists department. Detroit is an improved team on both ends of the floor, but high-usage wings can still give the Pistons some trouble. I like the spot for Barnes and Barrett. Barnes is a bit pricey, while Barrett is a better value on FanDuel ($7,900) than DraftKings ($8,400). Quickley and Jakob Poeltl, conversely, both look relatively cheap on DraftKings. Agbaji’s absence would solidify the minutes for Gradey Dick, though his usage plunges with Barnes, Barrett, and Quckley all in the lineup.
