Core Plays LIVE: NBA DFS Picks for Sunday, March 2nd
A daily fantasy sports OG, Notorious has been roaming the DFS streets ever since they were invented. He has racked up multiple live final seats and several six-figure tournament wins in his DFS career and has long been one of the top NBA DFS minds in the industry. On weekends, Taylor Smith takes the reins. Their Core Plays LIVE article will zoom out on the slate as a whole, zoom in on the best NBA DFS picks, and constantly update as news breaks. Whether you are diving into the slate 5 hours before it starts or 5 minutes before it starts, Core Plays LIVE has everything you need for your DraftKings and FanDuel lineups.
Happy Sunday! We’re looking at a 6-game main slate on both DraftKings and FanDuel today with the festivities tipping off a little earlier than usual at 6 PM ET. The slate rolls all the way until the last 2 games at 9:30 ET, so it should be an interesting one for news, late swapping, and the like.
I’ll be updating this post throughout the day to account for injury news and other shenanigans, and I’ll also be on Crunch Time in the hour leading up to lock. Without further ado, let’s get right into it.

Team Previews
New York Knicks (at MIA)
The Knicks are favored by 6.5 points tonight down in Miami, and Ariel Hukporti (out, knee) is the only player on the injury report ahead of this one. We saw Mitchell Robinson play 12 minutes off the bench in his season debut on Friday night, while Karl-Anthony Towns logged 31 after missing a game with a sore knee. The Heat haven’t been as stingy this season as in years past, and we know Thibs will run his regulars out there for heavy minutes on a nightly basis. That’ll put Towns and Jalen Brunson in play for GPPs every night, while OG Anunoby ($5,700) is arguably a little underpriced on DraftKings. I’m still having a hard time finding much to prioritize here, though, especially with other teams on this slate dealing with more rampant injuries.
