A daily fantasy sports OG, Notorious has been roaming the DFS streets ever since they were invented. He has racked up multiple live final seats and several six-figure tournament wins in his DFS career and has long been one of the top NBA DFS minds in the industry. On weekends, Taylor Smith takes the reins. Their Core Plays LIVE article will zoom out on the slate as a whole, zoom in on the best NBA DFS picks, and constantly update as news breaks. Whether you are diving into the slate 5 hours before it starts or 5 minutes before it starts, Core Plays LIVE has everything you need for your DraftKings and FanDuel lineups.

The sites are keeping it nice and light on Sunday with 4-game NBA main slates, but things are never easy with DraftKings and FanDuel. They’re rolling with different 4-game slates tipping at different times. FanDuel’s 4-gamer starts at 5 PM ET and includes WAS-IND. DK’s starts an hour after that and includes the late-night BKN-SAC affair. We do get the benefit of having a grand total of zero teams playing the 2nd half of a back-to-back, so we’re not really expecting any injury shenanigans. This is the NBA though, so always expect the unexpected.

Two of the games on each slate feature point spreads of 3 points or fewer, while the others have spreads of 9 or more. The games with wider spreads also have significantly higher totals than the ones expected to stay competitive, so this could be a tricky one. As always, I’ll be here all afternoon keeping tabs on things.

Kuzma Wizards forward

Washington Wizards (at IND)

Jordan Poole is questionable for the Wiz today in Indy with a hip flexor, while they’re down Saddiq Bey and Tristan Vukcevic. JoPoo (unofficial nickname) hasn’t missed a game yet this season, but I assume Carlton Carrington would return to the starting unit if he sits. Malcolm Brogdon probably wouldn’t see a major hike in minutes thanks to his injury history, but Poole sitting would clear some extra usage for Kyle Kuzma, primarily. Bilal Coulibaly and Corey Kispert would look like slightly better values, but the Wizards still have plenty of bodies capable of filling the minutes. If Poole plays, he and Coulibaly would be the only Wizards projected for more than 30 minutes. Alex Sarr rates out as the best point-per-dollar value on FD ($5,500), but all Wizards come in with a negative RGValue with Poole currently projected to play.
