Happy Wednesday!
I’ll keep the introduction short and sweet given the fact that we have 14 games to break down. I want to say how thankful I am to be able to provide DFS content for a living. I am also very thankful for all of the amazing members here at RotoGrinders. For those traveling today or tomorrow, be extremely safe. Happy Thanksgiving and we’ll see you back here on Friday.
As for tonight, FanDuel is rolling out a 14-game main slate, while DraftKings is rolling out an 11-game main slate. There are 9 teams playing on the second half of a back-to-back — the Bulls, Wizards, Heat, Rockets, Wolves, Spurs, Jazz, Lakers, and Suns.
I will note that I will be driving from around 4:00 p.m. ET to 6:30 p.m. ET, so I will try to get one final update when I get to my destination. Let’s dive into the team previews.

News Updates
1:30 PM ET – It took forever to write those team previews, so we have had some injury news since I started. Jalen Smith is now questionable for the Bulls. Jalen Green will play for the Rockets. Mike Conley will play for the Wolves, while Joe Ingles has been ruled out. Kevin Love has been ruled out for the Heat.
Team Previews
Miami Heat (at CHA)
The Heat are playing in the second half of a back-to-back after losing at home to the Bucks. They have a mediocre matchup against the Hornets. They have yet to submit an injury report, so we’ll have to wait and see on that front. From a projections standpoint, Jimmy Butler and Tyler Herro both have Opto% rates slightly higher than 10%. Given the size of the slate, I ultimately expect there to be a ton of value, which typically leads to stars and scrubs roster construction.
Charlotte Hornets (vs. MIA)
The Heat have been a tough matchup for fantasy production this season, ranking 24th in pace and 8th in defensive rating. The Hornets will be shorthanded again, as Miles Bridges, Tre Mann, Nick Richards, Mark Williams, and Grant Williams have all been ruled out. Despite a tough matchup against the Magic on Monday, LaMelo Ball continued his tear through the association by scoring 68 fantasy points. He has now topped 53 fantasy points in 6 of his last 8 games. I worry about the efficiency for Brandon Miller in this spot, but I do like the value that Tidjane Salaun on both sites, as he could push for 30 minutes.
