NBA DFS Picks: DraftKings & FanDuel Expert Survey for Friday, April 3
Who is your favorite player to spend up for in cash games?
Notorious: Scottie Barnes
TJ Zwarych: Scottie Barnes
ncorfield8k: Scottie Barnes
What is your preferred tournament format (e.g. large-field, single-entry) to play on this slate? How do you plan to beat that field of opponents? What tactic or strategy will set you apart?
Notorious: I prefer small-field tournaments. This is one of the ugliest slates in recent memory, as 6 of the 8 games feature spreads of at least 13.5 points. A large part of the slate is going to be who can predict which bad teams are going to keep these games competitive. I’m going to be avoiding a lot of the big favorites, but I do love the Rockets. They have a massive team total and the best matchup on the board. I want to include 2-3 of them in each lineup.
TJ Zwarych: I’ll be playing 150 lineups in large-field tournaments, and there are a lot of teams I feel comfortable omitting to tighten up my player pool. I’ll avoid the Magic, Nets, Mavs, Bulls, and Bucks, to name a few, while loading up on the Sixers, Rockets, Raptors, and Pacers.
ncorfield8k: Large-field tournaments – I don’t usually go out of my way to game stack on slates this large, but this slate is an exception given how many of these games are likely to be blowouts. I’ll go into the slate significantly overweight on the Magic, who have a strong matchup and the latest start time, but I’ll be quick to pivot off some of my Magic exposure if better plays open up as we get lineups and injury news.
Who is your favorite contrarian play (when considering price, matchup, projected ownership, etc.) on the board and why?
