What is your preferred tournament format (e.g. large-field, single-entry) to play on this slate? How do you plan to beat that field of opponents? What tactic or strategy will set you apart?
Notorious: I prefer small-field and single-entry tournaments. I’m not going to overthink my spends tonight. Giannis Antetokounmpo gets to face the Wizards without Bobby Portis and Damian Lillard, while De’Aaron Fox gets another game without Victor Wembanyama. He put up 56 fantasy points with a usage rate of 30% last night.
Dean78904: I mostly focus on single-entry and smaller-field contests. This is all subject to change per news, but I’m currently loving the idea of game stacks. NOP/DAL, MIL/DAL, and DET/SAS are 3 of my favorite games to target.
tcsmith031: It’s Friday, so I’ll take a walk on the wild side and dabble in the 150-max streets this evening. The Spurs and Mavs look like solid sources of value, so I’ll plan to correlate those cheapies with some of the more expensive pieces from their opponents. Cade Cunningham, Jalen Duren, Zion Williamson, and Trey Murphy all stand out as terrific bring-backs to play alongside cheapies like Max Christie, Jeremy Sochan, Chris Paul, and Charles Bassey.
TJ Zwarych: This slate looks like a lot of fun to MME in a large-field setting. There’s not much clear screaming value, but there are a ton of interesting spots to take shots on for tournaments. I expected the Spurs to be projecting for more ownership early in the day, so they’re the team I’m going to be targeting the most tonight. In addition to San Antonio, I want to load up on the NOP/DAL game and have at least half my team consisting of late-night hammers in each lineup.
Who is your favorite play (when considering price, matchup, roster construction, etc.) on the board and why?
