What is your preferred tournament format (e.g. large-field, single-entry) to play on this slate? How do you plan to beat that field of opponents? What tactic or strategy will set you apart?

Notorious: I prefer small-field tournaments. This is a slate that is setting up extremely well for stars and scrubs builds given how many strong value plays there are to choose from. The problem is that I don’t love most of the expensive options. To be a little different, I’m going to build more balanced lineups.

Dean78904: I mostly focus on single-entry and smaller-field contests. I love the CLE/WAS game. As things look right now, both teams will only have 10 players, while the Wizards currently have 3 questionable players among their 10, possibly knocking them down to dressing the minimum required (8). With that in mind, I expect to have at least two Cavs and two Wizards in every lineup, if not more.

tcsmith031: I’ll focus on smaller-field single-entry GPPs tonight. There’s quite a bit of cheap value in the aftermath of yesterday’s trade deadline, so we can potentially find some punt value at low pOWN% that might be mega-chalk on any other slate. Strong per-minute producers like Chris Boucher and Ty Jerome offer ceilings, while Zaccharie Risacher and Moussa Diabaté are a couple of other viable cheapies projected for modest ownership.

TJ Zwarych: My preferred format tonight is large-field contests in an MME setting, as I want to mix and match the different cheapies in Washington, while game-stacking CLE/WAS and spending up for as much Joel Embiid and Victor Wembanyama as I can. Carlton Carrington is currently my favorite cheapie; I also want to take shots on Tristan Vukcevic, Kyshawn George, Justin Champagnie, and the whole crew.

Who is your favorite play (when considering price, matchup, roster construction, etc.) on the board and why?
