What is your preferred tournament format (e.g. large-field, single-entry) to play on this slate? How do you plan to beat that field of opponents? What tactic or strategy will set you apart?

Notorious: I prefer small-field tournaments. For such a small slate, we have a ton of great options. My plan of attack is to be overweight on the final game of the slate (NOP/MEM). The Pelicans are facing the fastest-paced team in the NBA and have a team total that’s 6 points higher than their season average despite missing three of their starters, while the Grizzlies could end up being without Ja Morant and/or Santi Aldama. I love stacking this game.

Dean78904: I mostly focus on single-entry and smaller-field tournaments. We have a 3-game slate where every team is either on the front end or back end of a back-to-back, and half the teams would probably prefer to lose. Additionally, 3 of the 10 players with the highest projections are currently questionable. Suffice to say, this slate will be messy, ugly, and more unpredictable than most. I am more apt to be contrarian on smaller slates, and that is the plan tonight. Lastly, Ja Morant is in the last game of the night and is currently questionable. I want to have a plan for the possible scenario of Morant being out.

tcsmith031: I’ll focus on single entry on tonight’s tiny slate. I normally trim my player pool as much as I can, but tonight, I’ll likely expand things to include players I likely wouldn’t consider in a larger slate. I’ll also keep several roster spots open for the NOP/MEM game in case we don’t get an update on Ja Morant by the time the first games lock. This game has the highest over/under on the slate by a wide margin, and I like the thought of stacking it despite the 11-point spread.

TJ Zwarych: I’ll be playing single-entry tonight, and I plan on basically cutting this slate down as much as I can, removing Portland and the 76ers from my player pool entirely. The Cavs will be my top target, but I want to make sure I save some spots open in the NOP/MEM game just in case we don’t get news about Ja Morant and Santi Aldama before lock. If we do and they’re in, I’ll be very light on Memphis players despite their high total.
