What is your preferred tournament format (e.g. large-field, single-entry) to play on this slate? How do you plan to beat that field of opponents? What tactic or strategy will set you apart?
Notorious: I’m going to be playing my usual 1 lineup on FanDuel and DraftKings. I enter that lineup into small-field tournaments. There are so many good value plays to choose from tonight, and my interest in them is going to hinge on what the starting lineups end up looking like. I’m going to lock in my favorite spends (Cade Cunningham and Paolo Banchero) and stay flexible with my values.
tcsmith031: I’ll focus on single-entry GPPs tonight. The Spurs and Pelicans are great sources of cheap value, and I’m planning on building in some correlation from their opponents too. I’ll set a rule to force at least 1 Sixer into lineups that include 3 Spurs, and I will have the same rule to jam in at least 1 Minnesota piece into lineups featuring at least 3 Pelicans.
TJ Zwarych: Although I usually play 150 lineups in large-field contests, I’ll strictly be playing single-entry tonight due to time constraints. With that being the case, I plan to fade ORL/WAS entirely and wait for the 8:00 PM ET games just in case there is some late news. Despite the tough matchup, the Pelicans will be my primary target, and I’ll make sure to play 1-2 of Jose Alvarado, Jordan Hawkins, and Bruce Brown in every single lineup; I would do so even if I were playing more than one.
Who is your favorite play (when considering price, matchup, roster construction, etc.) on the board and why?
