Who is your favorite player to spend up for in cash games?

What is your preferred tournament format (e.g. large-field, single-entry) to play on this slate? How do you plan to beat that field of opponents? What tactic or strategy will set you apart?

Notorious: I prefer small-field tournaments. For a large slate, we don’t have a ton of obvious value plays. I prefer these slates over the stars-and-scrubs slates where you are just hoping to find the right minimum-salary player. I am going to focus on balanced builds tonight.

Dean78904: I mostly focus on single-entry and smaller-field type of contests. I just love the MIA/CHI game, as it has the highest total on the board, with 2 of the 3 fastest-paced teams in the league. Additionally, Miami will be without two rotation players (Andrew Wiggins and Nikola Jovic), and there is at least a chance the Bulls will be thin as well, with both Tre Jones and Coby White listed as questionable. I very much expect my main lineup to have some sort of a MIA/CHI game stack. I also expect to have at least one Raptor in every lineup I make.

ncorfield8k: Large-field tournaments – As usual, on a Friday night with games spread apart in start times, I’ll be jumping at any opportunity to late swap based on injury news or changes to NBA starting lineups, hoping to catch people with active social lives slacking. This will be easier to do with an underweight approach to the IND/CLE game, though I won’t be full-fading.
