What is your preferred tournament format (e.g. large-field, single-entry) to play on this slate? How do you plan to beat that field of opponents? What tactic or strategy will set you apart?
Notorious: I prefer small-field tournaments. I’m not overthinking tonight’s slate. I am going to lock in Giannis Antetokounmpo, lock in the cheap values from the Nets, and then go from there. To differentiate, I’ll likely use Max Christie and/or Duncan Robinson, who are projected for very little ownership despite their elite matchups.
Dean78904: I mostly focus on single-entry and smaller-field types of contests. I don’t make a lot of lineups, but I can see playing at least one of Jalen Duren or his teammate Isaiah Stewart in every one of them. If I play both, I’d be more apt to run it back with Michael Porter Jr. and possibly one of the Brooklyn cheapies. CHI/MIL and TOR/ATL are two of my favorite overall game environments. I don’t expect to play anyone from BOS/ORL, and there is a decent chance CLE/WAS also won’t make the cut, meaning I’m pretty comfortable punting the 7:00 p.m. ET games.
ncorfield8k: Large-field tournaments – With so many games on the slate on a Friday night, I’ll be paying close attention to injury news and changes to starting lineups for potential late-swap opportunities. I won’t have large game stacks; I’ll likely be overweight on Kel’el Ware.
