NBA DFS Picks: DraftKings & FanDuel Expert Survey for Friday, October 30
Who is your favorite player to spend up for in cash games?
Notorious: Franz Wagner
Dean78904: Giannis Antetokounmpo
ncorfield8k: Giannis Antetokounmpo (FD) / Brandon Miller (DK)
Who is your favorite play (when considering price, matchup, roster construction, etc.) on the board and why?
Notorious: Brandon Miller – If you haven’t looked at his stats or his game log, do that before making your lineups tonight. Miller has the highest usage rate of any player on the slate, and he has topped 50 fantasy points in each of the last 3 games. With LaMelo Ball gone, Miller is surrounded by low-usage players. The shot volume is elite, and I love his matchup against the Wizards, who are bottom 10 in 3-point attempts allowed and defensive rating this season.
Dean78904: RJ Barrett – Barrett has scored at least 20 points in every game this season (including vs. the Magic). His role is even stronger with Kawhi Leonard off the court, as he has seen a 3.5% USG bump up to 29%. I’m not saying he’ll for sure play 37ish minutes if tonight’s game is close, but it is possible. We’ve seen Barrett play 32 minutes in the last two games despite sitting out the last 6 minutes due to blowouts. Salary and role considered, Barrett is one of my favorite plays in the mid-tier tonight.
ncorfield8k: Brandon Miller – Miller is still too cheap for his role with LaMelo Ball gone, and he gets a great matchup. The Wizards rank just 18th in pace this year, but they’re still 10th-worst in defensive rating. It’s the best matchup for a high-usage Scoring Wing in our NBA matchups tool. Miller has made just 10 of his last 30 shots over his last 3 games, yet he has surpassed 50 fantasy points in all of them. If his shot starts falling, the sky is the limit.
Who is your favorite contrarian play (when considering price, matchup, roster construction, etc.) on the board and why?
