What is your preferred tournament format (e.g. large-field, single-entry) to play on this slate? How do you plan to beat that field of opponents? What tactic or strategy will set you apart?

Notorious: I prefer small-field tournaments and will only be building 1 lineup per site tonight. On DraftKings, I want to get exposure to the Lakers. They have a high team total and a nice matchup at home against the Spurs. My favorite play from the Lakers is Austin Reaves, who has averaged 45 fantasy points per game since the D’Angelo Russell trade. On FanDuel, I’m going to get as much exposure to the Wolves as possible.

headChopper: I’ll be playing single entry in a smaller field, and I like starting with a core of multiple Minnesota players. They have arguably the best matchup on the slate, making them a solid foundation. In larger-field contests, which I will sprinkle in my contest selection, I’d complement that with a MEM/HOU game stack, as the spread and total signal this as the top game environment of the night.

Dean78904: I mostly focus on single-entry and smaller-field tournaments. As things stand right now, we don’t have any value that jumps off the table, as no player currently projects to 6x their salary on FD, while there is just one (Rudy Gobert) on DK. Despite that, we’re seeing 3-4 Warriors and Timberwolves flood FD lineups and 4+ Timberwolves hitting DK optimals. With none of these players projecting amazingly, this just feels like bad collective chalk. By all means, feel free to play Warriors and Timberwolves on DK, but consider capping the number of players to 2 (possibly 3 T’Wolves) per team.

ncorfield8k: Large-field tournaments – It’s a small slate with some really high totals. It’s a great one for game-stacking with 5 or more players from a single game. If only 1 game remains competitive throughout—or better yet, goes to overtime—game-stacked lineups will have a big advantage over lineups spread across all games.
