Who is your favorite player to spend up for in cash games?

What is your preferred tournament format (e.g. large-field, single-entry) to play on this slate? How do you plan to beat that field of opponents? What tactic or strategy will set you apart?

Notorious: Once again, we have a massive slate on our hands with a lot of injury news that we are still waiting for. This is one of those slates where you don’t want to lock in your conviction plays until after a lot of the dust has settled. However, it’s shaping up to be another stars-and-scrubs-type roster construction. My two biggest stands are going to be a fade of the Raptors (except Sandro Mamukelashvili) and being overweight on the Magic.

headChopper: One hand-built lineup in small-field tournaments that have limited entries is what I will be playing. 8 games on a slate is a big one these days, but 4 of these games have spreads of 12.5 points or more, so blowouts will be present. While I don’t mind one-offing a player from the favorites in those blowout games, I will probably be fading the underdogs. As of early afternoon, I think I may be fading the top five or so most-expensive players, which should put me on a midrange build.

TJ Zwarych: I’ll be playing 150 lineups in large-field GPPs, and I want to get significantly overweight on the Raptors and Rockets. I’ll hit the lock button on Sandro Mamukelashvili on DK, and I’ll make sure to have at least one of Alperen Sengun, Amen Thompson, and Kevin Durant in every single lineup I play.
