Who is your favorite player to spend up for in cash games?

What is your preferred tournament format (e.g. large-field, single-entry) to play on this slate? How do you plan to beat that field of opponents? What tactic or strategy will set you apart?

tcsmith031: Single-entry and 20-max tournaments for me tonight. This slate features a lot of appealing game environments, so I’ll be doing some game-stacking to try and get some correlation into my tournament builds. CLE/MIA, NOP/PHX, and MIN/UTA are the real standouts, and some of these spots should see very limited ownership on such a large slate.

headChopper: I’m playing in smaller-field tournaments that have single and limited entries. There appears to be some heavy chalk, and it’s not bad chalk if multiple Detroit players end up ruled out. The way to get different after that is by being selective with the stars you spend on. I’ll look to bypass builds with Giannis Antetokounmpo and Luka Doncic and instead target players with similar upside but lower projected ownership, like Victor Wembanyama and Devin Booker.

TJ Zwarych: I’ll be playing 1 lineup in single-entry contests, and I’m hoping we get enough cheap value throughout the day to play both Luka Doncic and Victor Wembanyama in the same lineup. Detroit will be my top place to go for value, and I plan to stick strictly to a stars-and-scrubs build.
