Who is your favorite player to spend up for in cash games?

What is your preferred tournament format (e.g. large-field, single-entry) to play on this slate? How do you plan to beat that field of opponents? What tactic or strategy will set you apart?

tcsmith031: I’ll roll the dice in smaller-field single-entry GPPs. I expect most of the field to anchor their lineups with Karl-Anthony Towns. He’s a fantastic play with the Knicks missing a couple of starters, but I expect Giannis Antetokounmpo to come in a bit underowned with KAT soaking up so much ownership at power forward. Giannis has been matchup-proof in his massive role, and there’s more than enough cheap value to make it easy enough to jam him in.

headChopper: I prefer small-field GPPs that have limited entries. With the current injury situation, it’s going to be a chalky slate, but most of it is good chalk. It’s tough to get away from some of these Knicks pieces. Getting different for me will come from building more balanced lineups, and I want to avoid players who project well but have a lower ceiling.

TJ Zwarych: I’ll likely play 150 lineups in large-field tournaments, and I want to get as much exposure to Detroit (especially if Cade Cunningham is out) and the NYK/MIA game as possible. I’m debating hitting the lock button on Karl-Anthony Towns, but even if I don’t, I’ll play at least one Knicks, Pistons, and Heat player in every lineup.
