Who is your favorite player to spend up for in cash games?
tcsmith031: De’Aaron Fox
Krayton: De’Aaron Fox
TJ Zwarych: LaMelo Ball
What is your preferred tournament format (e.g. large-field, single-entry) to play on this slate? How do you plan to beat that field of opponents? What tactic or strategy will set you apart?
tcsmith031: I’ll focus on single-entry GPPs tonight. While a balanced build comes together pretty easily with Evan Mobley grading out as a strong play, I’m still inclined to find a way to pay up for Luka Doncic if I can find the salary. Doncic is averaging a ridiculous 1.83 DK FP/minute since the beginning of March, and he could see even more usage flow his way if Austin Reaves (Q) sits this one out. Luka should be in line for a full allotment of minutes in what should be a close game against Orlando.
Krayton: I will be playing single-entry contests along with 20-max contests on both sites tonight. Luka Doncic is the spend-up option I want to be overweight on, as he is projected for low ownership as of early this afternoon. We should have some value opening up from LAC, GSW, and SAS, and I like the idea of building around both Luka Doncic and LaMelo Ball. I will be overweight on both in my 20-max contests.
TJ Zwarych: I’ll be playing 150 lineups in large-field GPPs. I’m going to try and get overweight on both Luka Doncic and Victor Wembanyama (if he plays). I’ll save some lineup spots open in case Kawhi Leonard gets ruled out, and I’ll try and take shots on the potential Clippers value that could open up, like Jordan Miller, Derrick Jones Jr, and Kobe Sanders.
