Who is your favorite player to spend up for in cash games?
tcsmith031: Karl-Anthony Towns
Krayton: Alperen Sengun
TJ Zwarych: Alperen Sengun
How do you plan to beat the field of opponents in the tournaments you will be playing? What tactic or strategy will set you apart?
tcsmith031: I like the idea of getting some exposure to the Warriors, and there could be some value here with 3 of them listed as questionable coming into the day. The Magic are in the middle of a road swing out west, and they’ve become a pretty favorable matchup this season, ranking just 25th in defensive efficiency. Golden State has been quietly cooking as well, as they’re scoring the 5th-most points in the league this season per 100 possessions (117).
Krayton: I will be playing more multi-entry contests tonight. I like the idea of locking in Alperen Sengun and then going overweight on a couple of other elite centers in Yaxel Lendeborg and Karl-Anthony Towns. I like the spot for all of these players (along with Wendell Carter on FD). I will be taking a big stand at the center position and then filling in my lineups from there.
TJ Zwarych: The Knicks are projecting to be heavy chalk, as they’re still without Josh Hart, and I like the idea of going very underweight on them while loading up on other high-upside teams like the Thunder, Warriors, and Rockets. I’ll be running 150 lineups in large-field tournaments, and while I won’t fade NYK, I’ll have a lot less than the field.
