What is your preferred tournament format (e.g. large-field, single-entry) to play on this slate? How do you plan to beat that field of opponents? What tactic or strategy will set you apart?

tcsmith031: I’ll focus on single-entry and large-field GPPs. As usual, I’ll set some rules in LineupHQ to help me control for ownership and negatively correlated situations within teams. I like a max-2 of the Hart/Bridges/Anunoby trio for New York, and I’ll do the same with the Harper/Castle/Fox group from the Spurs. If you want to be really aggressive, rolling with a max-1 of Brunson/Towns looks like an interesting approach, especially with both pulling significant projected ownership on such a small slate.

Krayton: I will be playing single-entry contests and some 20-max contests on both sites tonight. I plan on locking in Jalen Brunson, and then I will be over the field on Bobby Portis, Dylan Harper, and Bub Carrington as my favorite value plays.

TJ Zwarych: I’ll just be playing one lineup in single-entry contests tonight, and I really like living in the middle range. I think Jalen Brunson might be as expensive as I go, with the cheapies of Dylan Harper, Bobby Portis, Egor Demin, and Kel’el Ware being my favorite sources of value.

Who is your favorite play (when considering price, matchup, roster construction, etc.) on the board and why?

Robert Brown (aka Epignosis) was having lunch at a sports bar. A football game was on. He remarked to his wife that if he could have a second life, he’d like to be someone who enjoyed watching sports. That enjoyment began when he signed up for a fantasy football league that needed one more player. Since then, he has enjoyed playing NFL, NBA, and (especially) MLB DFS. When not teaching American literature, editing content for RotoGrinders (which he has done since 2019), or making lineups, Epignosis is rocking out or jazzing it up on one of several possible instruments.
