Who is your favorite player to spend up for in cash games?
tcsmith031: Tyrese Maxey
Krayton: Tyrese Maxey
TJ Zwarych: Tyrese Maxey
What is your preferred tournament format (e.g. large-field, single-entry) to play on this slate? How do you plan to beat that field of opponents? What tactic or strategy will set you apart?
tcsmith031: I’ll play single-entry and 20-max tournaments tonight. The value chalk looks like pretty good chalk with Rudy Gobert suspended and the Suns missing a few high-usage players. The key to the slate may be determining where to spend up. Luka Doncic looks like he could fly under the radar in a tough spot against Boston, and I’ll plan on coming in over the field on his projected ownership. I’m leaning toward taking a more underweight approach on a chalky Tyrese Maxey, as the 76ers are playing the latter half of a tough back-to-back set in Minnesota.
Krayton: I will be playing my usual single-entry contests along with 20-max contests on both sites tonight. I will be locking in Naz Reid, as he’s always a great tournament option when Rudy Gobert is playing, but with Gobert out, Reid should have more secure minutes, and his upside is elite. I also will be overweight on Luka Doncic, whom we have projected for single-digit ownership as of early this afternoon.
TJ Zwarych: I’ll be playing 150 lineups in large-field GPPs. Although they’ll be chalky, I plan to load up on both Collin Gillespie and Naz Reid. I’ll have at least two Suns in every single lineup, as they’re without their two highest-usage players, and Grayson Allen is questionable as well.
