NBA DFS Picks: DraftKings & FanDuel Expert Survey for Sunday, March 1
Who is your favorite player to spend up for in cash games?
tcsmith031: Luka Doncic
Krayton: Luka Doncic
TJ Zwarych: Kawhi Leonard
What is your preferred tournament format (e.g. large-field, single-entry) to play on this slate? How do you plan to beat that field of opponents? What tactic or strategy will set you apart?
tcsmith031: I’ll focus on 20-max GPPs. I expect Luka Doncic to be the chalkiest pay-up play again, though we have plenty of lower-owned alternatives, including Cade Cunningham, Tyrese Maxey, and Shai Gilgeous-Alexander. I’ll still get plenty of exposure to Luka, but I really like the matchup for Cunningham in particular against a Magic team that struggles to contain high-usage guards.
Krayton: I will be playing mostly single-entry and 20-max contests on both sites. I will be locking Saddiq Bey into all of my lineups, and then I like spreading out exposure to players like Cade Cunningham, Tyrese Maxey, Luka Doncic, Jalen Johnson (if he plays), and Shai Gilgeous-Alexander.
TJ Zwarych: I’ll play 150 lineups in large-field GPPs, and I’ll be loading up on the Pelicans cheap value so I can play a variety of stars. I’ll be underweight on Luka Doncic so that I can be overweight on the likes of Cade Cunningham, Kawhi Leonard, Jalen Johnson, and Shai Gilgeous-Alexander.
Who is your favorite play (when considering price, matchup, roster construction, etc.) on the board and why?

About the Author
Robert Brown (aka Epignosis) was having lunch at a sports bar. A football game was on. He remarked to his wife that if he could have a second life, he’d like to be someone who enjoyed watching sports. That enjoyment began when he signed up for a fantasy football league that needed one more player. Since then, he has enjoyed playing NFL, NBA, and (especially) MLB DFS. When not teaching American literature, editing content for RotoGrinders (which he has done since 2019), or making lineups, Epignosis is rocking out or jazzing it up on one of several possible instruments.
