What is your preferred tournament format (e.g. large-field, single-entry) to play on this slate? How do you plan to beat that field of opponents? What tactic or strategy will set you apart?
tcsmith031: I’ll focus on single-entry today. It sounds simple, but I really don’t want to let Victor Wembanyama beat me. There is a lot of cheap value at center on this slate, and it’ll be interesting to see if that helps to limit Wemby’s ownership. I don’t think he’ll be contrarian by any means, but I’m having a hard time passing on his potential ceiling if I’m only building one lineup. I don’t mind sacrificing one of the cheap chalk centers – Andre Drummond or Jusuf Nurkic – to jam Wemby in there.
Krayton: I will be playing mostly single-entry contests today along with some 3-entry max. With Tyrese Maxey popping as one of the top core plays at the PG position, I like moving to guys like Jalen Brunson, LaMelo Ball, and even Luka Doncic to get a bit different. There is a fair amount of value on both sites, and I am always looking for lower-projected stars to get exposure to. I will also play some of the chalkier cheap value options like Jusuf Nurkic, Kyle Filipowski (FD), Andre Drummond, and Cedric Coward.
TJ Zwarych: I’ll just play one lineup in single-entry contests. I will take a very stars-and-scrubs approach. With a ton of cheap value options, I like the idea of trying to pair Victor Wembanyama and Luka Doncic together, but if I can’t make it work, I’ll settle for Lamelo Ball, Tyrese Maxey, or Devin Booker instead of Luka.
Who is your favorite play (when considering price, matchup, roster construction, etc.) on the board and why?

About the Author
Robert Brown (aka Epignosis) was having lunch at a sports bar. A football game was on. He remarked to his wife that if he could have a second life, he’d like to be someone who enjoyed watching sports. That enjoyment began when he signed up for a fantasy football league that needed one more player. Since then, he has enjoyed playing NFL, NBA, and (especially) MLB DFS. When not teaching American literature, editing content for RotoGrinders (which he has done since 2019), or making lineups, Epignosis is rocking out or jazzing it up on one of several possible instruments.
