NBA DFS Picks: DraftKings & FanDuel Expert Survey for Thursday, February 5
Who is your favorite player to spend up for in cash games?
Notorious: Isaiah Collier
headChopper: Isaiah Collier
Dean78904: Jalen Johnson
What is your preferred tournament format (e.g. large-field, single-entry) to play on this slate? How do you plan to beat that field of opponents? What tactic or strategy will set you apart?
Notorious: I like small-field tournaments because you don’t have to be perfect to have a nice payout. There are a lot of moving pieces on this slate, and we could have even more news flow in throughout the day. In terms of the spots that I want to attack the most, I love pairing Isaiah Collier with Jalen Johnson as a mini stack in the UTA/ATL game. I also want to be overweight on Jalen Duren, as the Wizards continue to give up a ton of production to opposing centers.
headChopper: I prefer smaller-field tournaments that have limited entries. We still need to see how the trade deadline news shakes out, so this is subject to change, but as of early afternoon, I’ll more than likely lock in Isaiah Collier – or at the very least be well over the field. Early projected ownership has several Mavericks drawing heavy interest, and I may choose to exclude Mavericks players entirely to get different, assuming the Spurs lineup stays intact throughout the day.
Dean78904: I mostly focus on single-entry and smaller-field types of contests. I expect to have at least one Hawk in every lineup. By far my favorite bring-back from Utah is Isaiah Collier, as he played all 48 minutes last game with Keyonte George out. CHI/TOR is my next-favorite game. This is a 6-game slate, but I can see my lineups mostly being filled by just using the UTA/ATL and CHI/TOR games. If a third game were to sneak in, it would likely be WAS/DET, as the Wizards are shorthanded, and I love picking on Washington.
