NBA DFS Picks: DraftKings & FanDuel Expert Survey for Thursday, March 26
Who is your favorite player to spend up for in cash games?
Notorious: Jalen Duren
headChopper: Paolo Banchero
Dean78904: Jalen Duren (FD) / Daniss Jenkins (DK)
What is your preferred tournament format (e.g. large-field, single-entry) to play on this slate? How do you plan to beat that field of opponents? What tactic or strategy will set you apart?
Notorious: I prefer small-field and single-entry tournaments. I’m only making one lineup, and it will be heavy on the Pistons. The first two players that I’m clicking on are Daniss Jenkins and Jalen Duren. With Cade Cunningham and Isaiah Stewart both out, these two should see an uptick in both minutes and usage. My other stand is a full fade of the Hornets. They have a lot of mouths to feed in their offense, and they have a brutal matchup against the Knicks.
headChopper: I prefer one lineup in small-field, single-entry, and limited-entry GPPs tonight. With such a small slate, it’s tough to be different, so you are really just splitting hairs. My first thought is to look at two of the highest-projected-owned players in Daniss Jenkins and Devin Carter and decide which one to play and which one to fade. There will be way too many rosters that play both guys for my liking. From there, I want to find a player who could put up a top-5 score at lower ownership. On a small slate like this, I’m leaning toward one of the Knicks’ stars in a tight, highly contested matchup against another good team.
Dean78904: I prefer to focus on single-entry and smaller-field-type contests. As things currently stand, this slate is pretty gross and lacks value, so I’m more open to being contrarian today than most days. We are seeing 4–5 Pistons hit optimals right now. The Pistons are my favorite team on the slate, but I’d very likely max at 3 per lineup. No game looks especially more appealing than any other, but if I have any tie-breakers, I’d absolutely use game-stacking as a decider on this slate.
Who is your favorite play (when considering price, matchup, roster construction, etc.) on the board and why?
