What is your preferred tournament format (e.g. large-field, single-entry) to play on this slate? How do you plan to beat that field of opponents? What tactic or strategy will set you apart?

Notorious: I prefer small-field and single-entry tournaments. I’m going to use Luka Doncic extensively at MVP and CPT on this slate. I plan to be overweight on John Collins, both at MVP/CPT and at UTIL/FLEX. Finally, I want to be overweight on Kyle Filipowski, who has averaged 24 minutes and 29 fantasy points over the last 2 games.

headChopper: I’ll have 20 entries in large-field GPPs on DraftKings. I’ll jam either Daniel Gafford or Dereck Lively into every lineup, mostly at UTIL, and hope one of them has a monster game to separate me from the field. On FanDuel, it’s much tougher, but using a player like John Collins or Collin Sexton in the STAR spot sets you apart right away.

Dean78904: I am most interested in single-entry contests. Fractions of points can be the difference between a monster night and min-cashing, so I’m looking for any potential edge that can prove to be the outlier stat needed to separate yourself. The Jazz are the most blocked team in the league while giving up the 2nd-most opponent steals. I really wish Dallas had a better shot blocker to take advantage of this, but we can certainly see Daniel Gafford or Dereck Lively (I will play one of them in every lineup) rack up 3+ swats. Be aware that Kyrie Irving has been given a mid-day downgrade, so by all means, as always, make sure to monitor the injury report.
